Assessments & Diagnostics
Every workshop and program that we design for PerformanceCatalyst customers has a common theme - members of the senior leadership team getting to know each other better, work together more effectively and moving the organization toward a strategic vision. An integral part of that process is using assessments and diagnostic tools that provide insight into how we 'show-up' individually and collectively. Those insights are often the foundation of new levels of understanding by team members about how to be more effective with each other. We use two tools in many workshops. The first is the Craft Personality Questionnaire (CPQ) that provides tremendous insight into how people are 'wired to show up at work' around 8 basis personality traits. Developed by Dr. Larry Craft of CraftSystems in Bradenton, Florida, this insightful assessment is an easy to administer online tool that provides a robust suite of reports for both the individual and his/her immediate direct reporting boss to use in long-term development. The second tool is the Team Assessment diagnostic from The Table Group, Patrick Lencioni's company. This assessment is based on Lencioni's best-selling book "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team". Also administered online, it provides great insight into how a teams at all levels of the organization - from senior leadership to individual work units - are functioning and where the challenges are to improving team effectiveness.
These primary assessment tools are a core part of the work we do with teams. We are adding others to our 'tool-kit', giving us more flexibility and depth in our work with teams at all levels.
